Georgia Noles..I mean Florida State Noles take on Georgia State in Hoops

The Florida State men's basketball team will travel to Atlanta, Georgia to take on the Georgia State Panthers this afternoon at 4 pm. While technically it is an away game for FSU, for four members of the FSU squad it will feel more like a home game than a game at the Donald L. Tucker Center (or is it the Leon County Civic Center? I have no idea. The name changes each game I think). Sophmore guard Jordan Demercy is from Norcross, Georgia and played for Norcross High. Freshman guards Chris Singleton and Pierre Jordan both played for Dunwoody High School in Atlanta. Senior Point guard Toney Douglas is also from the Atlanta area, he played for Jonesboro High. His teammate while at Jonesboro was his brother Harry Douglas, who now plays wide receiver for the Atlanta Falcons. Maybe Harry will be able to see his brother play, but I'm guessing not since Tampa Bay is coming to Atlanta on Sunday for what is going to be a critical NFC South match up. The 'Noles team is fresh off a two point upset over a Florida team that really had no buisness being in the top 25 anway. With a victory this afternoon the Seminoles would improve to 9-1 on the season, their best start since 0
'03-04.
